Flexible project resource solution for Bell Integration

In 2019 Optamor's Project Resourcing capability was selected by Bell to identify, engage and onboard 20 contract Buyers and Procurement leads for 3-6 month contract durations. Our customer required a scalable and flexible project resource service with a partner that could implement and deliver upon a 6-week end-to-end project plan from the sourcing of suitable candidates to onboarding.

Optamor mobilised our specialist project RPO team which included a team of on-site consultants located at the customer’s offices. Optamor’s expert procurement-focused recruitment team located at our office in Portsmouth supported the onsite team. The delivery teams are flexible and have the ability to be scaled at short notice to suit demand requirements. To support the delivery of the account, Optamor’s specialist talent attraction marketing team built a bespoke marketing campaign to attract the best procurement talent to suit requirements. Optamor’s project RPO consisted of:

Candidate Sourcing & Shortlisting:

  • Created UK talent insights report and talent market map bespoke to requirements.

  • Out-of-hours candidate sourcing services. 

  • Face-to-face interviewing screening. 

  • Rapid submission of candidate profiles and competency-based responses to the hiring community.

End-to-end process management: 

  • All pre-employment screening.

  • Right to work verification.

  • Onboarding materials distributed to new starters.

  • Candidate and hiring manager interview facilitation.

The initial brief from the customer for the project was for the placement of 20 Buyers and Procurement Leads. As the project gathered pace, the volume rose slightly with the successful placement of 22 candidates from 23 profiles supplied. A success rate of over 98% for CVs submitted to contract offered. All 22 candidates were identified, vetted and submitted to the customer within a two-week period.
