Optamor were appointed as a ‘strategic’ resource partner in March 2019 by NTT UK. Founded in 1983, they employ over 28,000 employees across 47 countries and have Circa 800 UK employees plus a contingent workforce of 120. Optamor were tasked with obtaining visibility over the customer’s contractor workforce (direct & agency), the methods of engagement and the current risk profile for which they are exposed to. The customer required a solution that would mitigate them against legislative, financial and reputational risk. NTT was experiencing minimal service levels from their current supply chain and contractors were not being supported throughout their assignment.
Optamor completed an audit on NTT’s contractor workforce, mapping out the contractors, and their method of engagement and if they were agency supplied. This process also enabled Optamor to understand the supply chain – who the suppliers were and what risk they posed. For the suppliers deemed to be of risk, Optamor supplied the customer with a corrective plan to ensure that the risk was mitigated.
Contingent worker supply chain reduced from 14 – Optamor handle the contractual relationship with agencies, putting competitive terms in place to delivering savings from tertiary agency spend.
Novated 60 contractors under our management minimal negative impact whilst ensuring consistency of role versus rate and charge rate alignment.
Completed ‘supply chain audit’ across agencies and contractors and revealing high areas of risk and implemented corrective actions for areas of risk.
Supported IR35 assessment and change management process.
Improved invoicing & accounting efficiencies and a reduced administrative burden through consolidated invoicing and improved payment terms.
