How we saw things differently

The technical superintendent market is aspirant scarce and our customer faced numerous issues that were impacting their ability to connect with and engage the right talent for their business:

  • Salary challenges, the talent they wanted already held similar positions elsewhere in the UK on a comparable salary
  • Geographical challenges, the local talent pool was scarce and they had to look further afield within the UK and Europe to identify suitable sources
  • Relocation challenges - Candidates from outside of the UK would often be aware of the comparatively high taxation and living costs
  • Deployment challenges – There was a need to fill their positions quickly and so candidates with immediate availability were required

  • Prioritise their requirements by quantity and urgency
  • Create a customer responsive recruitment process to drive activity and determine available source suitability
  • Ensure open and constant communication to ensure a timely, accurate and source supportive process to support their talent engagement needs

Building a solution that works

By working in partnership, just 20 days after the initial request, our customer made their first offer of employment with the successful talent starting less than two weeks later. Further roles were successfully placed with four of those individuals relocating for these exciting opportunities.
