Here’s how a world leader in aircraft engineering and defence achieved their business training goals through a full Training Partnership with Optamor.
Optamor has provided over 9,170 hours of training to 1052 delegates.
Optamor has been providing a Training Partnership to our customer since July 2010, and fully manage a training budget in excess of £400k per year. In owning these activities, Optamor alleviates the burgeoning administration demands upon the business, as well as associated costs with the procurement, management of courses and content selection.
This allows our customer’s Learning and Development and HR teams to focus on tasks that are of more strategic value to them. Having worked in partnership for a number of years, it became apparent that embedding Optamor further into the business to take responsibility for managing the training budget on the customer’s behalf would be beneficial. This would allow the HR team to focus on business as usual and ensure that Optamor provide a simple and efficient mechanism through which training providers are sourced, engaged and managed, then training is delivered, offering overall commercial and control benefits.
A full scale review of existing operations was undertaken to ensure full administration services in coordinating, sourcing and booking training courses to meet the agreed training plan (and any additional needs collected throughout the training year) were provided. To ensure that all training met both the specific requirements of the delegate to be trained and the operational requirements of our customer the following projects were undertaken:

Optamor is seen as a virtual extension of our customer’s Learning and Development team and our dedicated training delivery hub work closely with the business to continue reviewing and evolving the partnership, ensuring the successful management of the annual training plan and budget.
