Northrop Grumman (NG) is a leading global security company providing innovative systems, products and solutions in autonomous systems, cyber, C4ISR, space, strike, and logistics and modernization to customers worldwide. As an independent project to our full RPO solution Optamor were selected for a talent attraction marketing project to Increase awareness of the Northrop Grumman talent brand, attract top talent from competitors and related industries and ultimately help reduce the cost to hire.

Optamor implemented a strategy to inspire and influence potential candidates by harnessing their messaging, people and projects - via inbound marketing channels to deliver against NG’s objectives:

  • Drive more inbound applications, brand awareness, and reducing cost to hire

  • Create a human connection with candidates.

  • Optimise UK Careers to build visibility in its own right.

  • Harness NG's EVP to promote career development, security and purpose.

  • Use video to engage with candidates and reduce time to hire.

  • Create friendly, culture-rich candidate packs for pre-interview/pre-start to limit drop-offs.

Outcomes
  • Doubled the number of direct hires using Textio language principles for all NG posted roles, reducing agency reliance.

  • Increased the number of offers made to female candidates by 43% in H1
