Training alliance provides best of both worlds

Training suppliers Advanced Resource Managers (ARM) and Taylor Made Training Solutions (TMTS) have announced a strategic alliance that will enable both to focus on their core areas of expertise.

As from 1st April 2011 ARM, already one of the UK’s major training suppliers, will become the preferred provider of Applications Training for TMTS and its customers, allowing TMTS to focus on a core business of developing people and performance.

ARM, a growing presence in the Applications Training market, will provide a one-stop solution for Applications training as well as business-based training such as Prince2 and ITIL. ARM will deliver this through its ARM Consulting brand, a division of the business which supplies a suite of human capital management services beyond “traditional” recruitment.

“This is an obvious business step for two successful companies that have similar ethics and compatible skill sets; there is no doubt that both Taylor Made and our customers will benefit going forward,”

says Nigel Taylor, Taylor Made Computer Solutions.

TMTS’s Scot Newing will transfer to ARM in a Training Sales role and will ensure that the transition for TMTS’ customers is seamless. Scot will bring many years experience of training sales to the team and will help us to continue our growth and service offering.

“Our alliance with Taylor Made gives ARM clients even wider access to high quality IT training, particularly in the areas of Microsoft technical and IT user training,”

says ARM MD Mike Gawthorne.

For clients coming over from Taylor Made, they will gain access to our massive pool of high quality, competitively-priced training subject areas. These include:

ARM’s Training department is a dedicated team of professionals providing a high level of customer service and a 'one stop shop' for training courses, tailored in-house training, training needs analysis, consultancy, training books, CD's, e-learning, and also support and forum events for Learning and Development Managers.

“To me this is the next step in expanding the portfolio of services and training we offer to our clients,” he said. “I’m really excited about the implications our working with Taylor Made has both for our customers and for us”.
