Congratulations to the Finalists in the Global Recruiter Awards

The Serocor Group (encompassing ARM & Optamor) are delighted to reach the finals in two categories of Global Recruiter UK Industry Awards, winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on the 25 June.

The People Development team have been shortlisted in the Best In-house Training category for work in moving employees forward in their career and increasing their effectiveness. This success follows their recent win in the IRP 2014 Award for Best People Development Business.

Recruitment Consultant Adam Razzell has reached the finals of the Best Temporary Consultant category for his sales performance, customer service and taking a leading role in the company.

The Global Recruiter UK Industry Awards are judged by a team of experts drawn from the industry itself. These awards identify the best of the best from the current UK recruitment industry according to clear criteria. Each category sets out to record and reward the very best practice in the industry.

Serocor Group - Best In-house Training

The People Development team support all five businesses within the Group. It has aligned its approach to the business goals of improved productivity, efficiency and ROI – delivering an outstanding service whilst extracting the best possible outcomes.  The team firmly believe that people development extends beyond the immediate work environment and that people have very different development needs; with an understanding that developing needs at a personal level positively impacts the working environment.

“We are absolutely ecstatic that our efforts have been recognised once again on the awards platform,” comments Heather Cracknell, Head of People Development. “We look forward to continuing our success story as we play out our belief that people development doesn’t start and end with our own staff; it extends our brand beyond our immediate space, to engender a culture of developing our future staff.”

People Development at the Serocor Group combines a range of mechanisms into a programme that meets development needs at the individual, team and business levels. This includes external training, management development, apprenticeships, certifications, qualifications and interactive learning modules through the ARM Learning Centre.

Adam Razzell - Best Temporary Consultant

Adam was new to recruitment when he joined ARM two and a half years ago, he exceeded his own expectations and went from zero to hero within months, joining top billers from across the business as ‘Rookie of the Year’ in a trip to New York. His success has continued and further accolades have followed, he now mentors other trainees passing on his ethics, winning characteristics and recipe for success.

Adam, who works in ARM’s Infrastructure & Built Environment (IBE) division with a focus on placing engineers into careers within the rail sector, comments: “I am thrilled to be recognised in this way for the hard work I have put in over the last few years. I feel this achievement is a combination of my own approach and attitude, along with the incredibly supportive working environment and winning culture here at ARM”.

The team are looking forward to the awards ceremony which will be held on 25 June 2015 at Café de Paris, London from 3pm.
