Meet the Speaker: Miles Henson
We are delighted to announce that industry leading talent development specialist, Miles Henson, will be joining us at the HR Directors Business Summit on 4-5 February 2014 at the ICC, Birmingham.
Miles is a global behavioural change and communication expert. His main focus is helping international organisations to engage more effectively with their people and to deliver high performing individuals and teams; ultimately supporting and delivering the success of the organisational strategy. As a people expert, Miles truly understands the link between business transformation, strategic development and the crucial role people play in that business success.
Much of his time is spent working with Executive leadership teams, helping them work more efficiently together whilst delivering measurable results. More importantly, he helps them to create clarity on the golden threads that will help their people understand, own and deliver the corporate strategy.
Widely sought after as a keynote speaker at conferences - often about motivation, talent engagement and corporate communication - Miles also works at Executive level as a coach and mentor. He has managed and led at board level in several successful businesses, including Taylor Made, which won 8th Best Place to Work (Sunday Times, 2008) and Gold Standard Investors in People under his leadership.
Miles is a master practitioner of a number of psychometric tools and is a fellow at Southampton Solent University, where he lectures third year students on Communication in the Workplace. He also hosts and presents 93.7 Express FM’s Business show each week, which is now in its fourth year and attracts over 40,000 listeners each week.
If you are planning to attend the HR Directors Summit, don’t miss out on our fun and engaging Masterclass session “Engaging your Talent: The Power of Storytelling” on Tuesday 4th February at 16:10 (Stage 6). The session, led by Miles, will focus on how leaders can harness the power of storytelling to communicate goals, convey their organisation’s strategy and values, or inspire and engage their people.
